WORSHIP DIRECTOR

The Worship Director works closely with the Camp Director and other staff members to care for the details of worship sessions, programming, and other worship aspects of each youth camp. The Worship Director will be at least of college age, a Christian, and willing to participate fully in the camping program

The responsibilities of the Worship Director will include:

1. Work with the camp pastor of each week to plan the worship time for morning and evening sessions.

2. Lead and coordinate w/ other band members, including practice sessions.

3. Create the ProPresenter  presentations for each session, including camp pastor’s slides.

4. Creative elements in sessions other than music (responsive reading/liturgy, skits, readings, silly songs…)

5. Lead evening campfire worship time, if applicable.

6. Care for all music equipment – requires knowledge about sound technology.

7. Create worship times for the staff as requested by the director.

8. Be fully engaged with their assigned cabin and camp activities/worship sessions when worship director responsibilities are complete.

9. Assist and work with other camp staff.
10. Assist the Camp Director.
