Guest Retreat Guidelines
The Guest Group agrees to abide the guidelines within this contract and those posted or communicated by Durley Camp.
The Guest Group Leader accepts responsibility of communicating and implementing these guidelines to the participants and will follow through to ensure compliance.
The Guest Group is requested to assist in placing in order all facilities it has occupied upon departure. Leaders are expected to maintain order of their group at all times and prevent damage to Durley Camp property. Cost of damages to the property and equipment beyond normal wear and tear including but not limited to graffiti and discharged fire extinguishers will be assessed upon departure.
Please look at our policies regarding pets, alcohol, drugs, weapons.
Neither food or drinks are permitted in the game room or youth cabins.
Quiet hours are to be observed from 11pm to 7am unless previous arrangements have been made.
Visitation of the opposite sex in living quarters is not permitted except for families.
The Guest Group is required to provide at least one person who is 18 years of age in each living quarter.
Upon departure, recreational and housing facilities are to be left in clean condition and things put back where you found them.
AGREEMENT
I recognize that certain hazards and dangers are inherent in the Durley events and programs and particularly, but not limited to, the activities of swimming, high adventure areas, recreational sports, and I acknowledge that although Durley has taken safety measures to minimize the risk of injury to participants, Durley cannot insure nor guarantee that the participant’s equipment, premises, and/or activities will be free from hazards, accidents and/or injuries. I further recongize the importance of knowing and abidiing by the camp’s rules, regulations, and procedures for the safety of activity participants.
I agree and warrant that our organization carries liability insurance and will provide a certificate of insurance to Durley Camp prior to the date upon which our retreat arrives at Durley Camp. I agree that our organization will assume full responsibility for our staff and volunteers and hereby releasaes Durley Camp and holds harmless Durley Camp for any issues which may arise regarding background and criminal history of staff, volunteers or other participants associated with guest retreats during the dates of participation. Our organization has completed all State and/or Federal requiried background checks in compliance with Child Protection Laws.
In consideration of Durley accpeting and permitting our group to attend camp and participate in the camp’s activities, I agree to hold harmless, indemnify and defend Durley, a non-profit corporation, its agents, officers, employees, trustees and volunteers from any and all liability for injury, death, damage including, but not limited to, bodily injury, personal injury, emotional injury, or property damage which may result from any person using the above described permises, its entrances and exits, and surrounding areas, on or off camp premises, for users purposes, regardless of whether such injury or damage results from the negligence of Durley, its agents, officers, employees, trustees and volunteers or otherwise
